Heirloom Tree Class 11-15-26

VERY SPECIAL Heirloom Tree Class
Remember those beautiful light up Christmas Trees that your grandma made in ceramics class in the 60s, that were passed down to future generations?
Here’s your opportunity to make your own!
These are not made from a mold and mass produced–these will be wheel thrown by Joyce, vary in size and shape, and you will embellish them however you want. You can pick a theme, and use various techniques that Joyce will teach you in order to decorate it it.
The class to make it will be November 15th, from 11 AM until 4 PM. They will then be dried **slowly**, bisque fired and ready to glaze two weeks later.
Because of the size and complexity when firing these, there will **not** be open studio to glaze these. You must glaze them at one of two available glazing sessions, which will be November 29th from noon until 4 PM, or December 6th, noon until 4 PM. (Or you can attend both glazing sessions if it takes you longer to glaze).
Due to the size of the pieces and the time involved, the class fee is $200, and will be limited to 8 people.
Last year’s class was incredible, everyone was very creative and made beautiful trees, and I can’t wait to see what you all do this year!
